Bridget Jones

Renée Zellweger is back as everyone's favorite witty heroine in the new Bridget Jones movie titled Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Not that Bridget's counting, but it's been six wonderful weeks, four fabulous days, and seven precious hours with one flawless boyfriend, Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). But when mischievous and devilishly charming Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) arrives on the scene claiming to be a reformed man, can Bridget find a way to make true love last forever? The Bridget Jones movie is "absolutely hilarious" (Jim Ferguson, ABC-TV) romantic comedy that proves there's nothing like love to send you over the edge.

As the Bridget Jones movie begins, we find Bridget where we left her in the last Bridget Jones --estatic and comfortable in the arms of gorgeous lawyer Mark Darcy (Firth). In the Bridget Jones movie, Mark is successful, supportive and tolerant of most of Bridget's tiny jealousies. One jealousy of Bridget's is highlighted in this sequel. With the entry of Mark's leggy intern, Bridget's pink clouds begin to turn gray as she begins to doubt herself and her relationship with Darcy. And just when Bridget Jones thinks that the waters couldn't get any choppier, her former boss, womanizing heartthrob Daniel Cleaver (Grant), sails into view. Bridget Jones sways from one embarrassing situation to another romantic misunderstanding, but still manages to come out as a winner.
